Madeira Badge Film is a 100 micron heat-dissolvable film designed for making clean, professional embroidery badges and emblems. It supports your stitching while you embroider, then disappears with heat, leaving you with a neat, fully stitched badge ready to apply. Because we supply B Film by the metre, it’s perfect for workshops that want to keep stock sensible and costs under control. Cut off exactly what you need for each job – no need to buy a full roll. Use B Film to stitch your badge or logo with a satin stitch border. Once the embroidery is complete, the film is removed with heat, leaving a standalone badge. You can then attach it to garments using heat seal film or by sewing, depending on the job. B Film is ideal as a backing for direct embroidery on certain applications, but it is not recommended for use as a topping. Stitch the badge Embroider your design, including a solid satin stitch border around the badge shape. Remove the film Follow Madeira’s instructions to dissolve/remove the film with heat. The film disappears, leaving a clean badge or emblem. Attach the badge Apply heat seal film to the back of the badge, then heat-press onto the garment, or sew in place as required. Test first Always carry out a small test to confirm the best settings for your machine, fabric and press.
