Do you remember the old Brother PE embroidery machines. I do and I delivered loads of them to schools and colleges. I’m talking about thirty odd years ago, when we had the Deansgate shop opposite St Johns street. Anyway, they used the Brother bobbins 9.2mm, the smaller of the two sizes we sell. Despite their age, we still see plenty of these machines coming into our workshop for repair or service. It’s just a shame that Brother stopped supplying some of the parts for their older models. Dad trained Steve and I to repair older machines to keep them going. We’d even make parts when we could, using Dads old Myford Super 7 lathe.
