The Brother Airflow 3000 Overlocker – the overlocker that’s a breeze to thread. The Brother Airflow 3000 is the new air threading overlocker. The modern push by all the manufacturers to include an air threading model continues. In this case, a simple push-button system will thread your top and bottom loopers. And a pull-down needle threader will help with the needles. With a smooth and chunky look the Airflow 3000 is a handsome chap and the various controls are laid out in a reasonably straightforward manner. It isn’t the quietest of overlockers we’ve tested, but the stitch quality is good. The Brother Airflow 3000 Features The large presser bar lift lever is fitted to the right side of the machine, rather than the more traditional position of ’round the back’. Set beneath the lift lever you’ll find both the stitch length and differential adjustment dials. This also where you will find the hand wheel. The blade adjustment dial is quite nice. Easy to grip and turn, and it’s marked clearly in easy to see numbers. Is this the right machine for me? There are many fans of Brother overlockers and many of them will have been waiting for a machine like this one. It’s simple, effective and puts out a nice stitch. Accessories for the Brother Airflow 3000 The Brother Airflow 3000 includes a standard overlock foot, a blind stitch foot, a gathering foot and a piping foot as standard along with a waste catcher to collect fabric offcuts, making this a nice package right out of the box. Optional accessories include a wide table to give you even more space to work.
