Aqua Medic Food Defroster Aquarium fish are not used to eating frozen food. Frozen food should be thawed in the defroster box so that it is fed at a normal temperature. With the defroster sieve, nitrate and phosphate are rinsed from the food thereby reducing build up in the aquarium, which can encourage algae growth. Includes defroster box with lid and sieve.
